Programme Update

Extended

Country announcement

It's official: OKP extended in 30 countries

The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs has now officially extended the Orange Knowledge Programme until 31 December 2024. As announced in our previous Programme Update, the extension includes new opportunities for individual scholarships and group training.

New opportunities in 30 countries

To be more aligned with the policy 'Do what we do best' of the Dutch Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, some changes have been made in the country list of the Orange Knowledge Programme. The following countries will continue to be part of the Orange Knowledge Programme:

Bangladesh, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Colombia, Congo (DRC), Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Mali, Mozambique, Niger, Nigeria, Palestinian Territories, Rwanda, Senegal, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzan

Please know that the thematic focus for these countries is yet to be updated and will be announced next week.

At the same time, this means that Guinea, Guatemala, Liberia, Myanmar, Sierra Leone, Suriname and Zambia are not part of the programme for upcoming calls. However, Nuffic as an organisation will stay active in these countries with other programmes such as Erasmus+ and Holland Scholarship.

Institutional Collaboration Project & Group Training

How to close an OKP project

As we are nearing the end of the Orange Knowledge Programme, we ask you to submit the final report on your projects’ progress and outcomes. In order to help you do so, we have created a webpage with information to successfully submit your final report for an OKP Institutional Collaboration Project or Group Training.

Submit your report on time

For Group Training, you need to submit your report within 2 months after the training has finished. For Institutional Collaboration Projects, you need to submit your report within 3 months after the project has finished.

Please note that in accordance to the Grant Obligations and Conditions, you must submit your full report on time. If you do not submit the report on time, Nuffic can withdraw, amend or settle the grant on a lower amount and demand the return of any sum it has already transferred.

Q&A sessions for submitting final reports

We are organising 2 Q&A sessions for implementers of ICP's and Group Training on submitting a final report.
